Scholarship applicants sought

The Elizabethtown Fair will award two $500 scholarships. Scholarships are available to any individual who has exhibited at the Elizabethtown Fair for at least two years. Applicants must be graduating high school seniors or currently enrolled in a postsecondary educational institution, and they may not have observed their 21st birthday as of Jan. 1 of the current year.

Applications can be requested at etownfair@pafairs.org. The deadline for submission is Saturday, June 15.

In addition, the Pennsylvania State Association of County Fairs (PSACF) will offer a maximum of six $1,000 scholarships to Pennsylvania residents through the Msgr. John W. Mignot Scholarship Program. Applicants must be currently or have been previously active for at least two years in a fair that is a member of PSACF. They must plan to attend college, trade, or technical school or an accredited higher education institution that requires a minimum of two full semesters for completion. The scholarships are sponsored by PSACF.
