The 81st annual Salunga Community Picnic will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 10, at 4:30 p.m. at Salunga Park, located next to the fire station, 19 W. Main St., Landisville. All residents of Salunga and surrounding communities are welcome to join.

Setup, social time, guessing games and giveaway drawing ticket sales will start at 4:30 p.m. Kids may participate in the peanut scramble at 5:30 p.m. Dinner will start at 6 p.m., and attendees should bring food. The committee will supply iced tea, water, chips and ice cream. After dinner, there will be a peanut scramble for people of all ages, along with a cake walk and door prizes.
