SALT to stage "Big Fish"

SALT Performing Arts will present the musical "Big Fish" at the SALT theater, located in the West Pikeland Township Building, 1645 Art School Road, Chester Springs. Performances will be held on Fridays, April 14, 21 and 28, at 7 p.m.; on Saturdays, April 15, 22 and 29, at 2 and 7 p.m.; and on Sundays, April 16, 23 and 30, at 2 p.m.

Based on the novel by Daniel Wallace and the film directed by Tim Burton, "Big Fish" centers on Edward Bloom, a traveling salesman whose larger-than-life stories thrill everyone around him, most of all, his devoted wife, Sandra. But their son, Will, about to have a child of his own, is determined to find the truth behind his father's epic tales.

The main characters and the cast members who will portray them include the following: older Edward - Harley Diamond; young Edward - Cameron Mast; older Sandra - Maggie Riker; young Sandra - Emily Sgroi; older Will - August Walker; young Will - Wesley McComas and Thomas Hayward; Josephine - Megan Murphy; Jenny - Molly Hopton; Witch - Neala Carroll; Karl - Andrew Sisti; Amos - Stephen Fisher; Dr. Bennet - Sheryl Jennings; Don Price - Evan Albright; Zachy Price - Erin Murray; Lamb - Emily Anagnos; Lamb 2 - Erica Barnes; Fisherman and Mayor - Shannon Price; and Mermaid - Christine Joe.

Understudies and members of the ensemble are Marie Wadlinger, Jordan Rega, Reece Dixon, Jeffrey Rega, Maddie Dixon and Sara Helmers.
