The 2026 Sauder Egg Run and Walk took place on April 25 in downtown Lititz. Hosted by Sauder's Eggs, the event welcomed more than 300 participants of all ages and fitness levels who took part in a 5-mile, USATF/RRTC-certified run or a scenic 5K walk, or who cheered along the course. This year's event raised $22,000, with proceeds benefiting four local volunteer fire companies: Lititz, Penryn, Schoeneck, and Brunnerville.

Participants enjoyed a variety of post-race refreshments, including Sauder's hard-boiled eggs, fresh-made omelets, fruit, and chocolate milk. They also received commemorative event T-shirts.

In addition to participants, the event was made possible through the support of numerous local and regional sponsors.

The next Egg Run and Walk is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, March 27, 2027.
