RTCM Plans Upcoming Banquets

Restart Training Center Ministry (RTCM) is seeking business sponsors and selling tickets for two fundraisers.

The 11th annual Valentine Banquet will be held Friday, Jan. 30, 2026, at the Shady Maple Banquet Hall, 129 Toddy Drive, East Earl. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.; the meal will be served at 6:15 p.m.

Amos Stoltzfus will be the guest speaker, and he and members of his family will provide music. "Amos came from an Amish background, but he was also incarcerated in prison once upon a time," said RTCM founder and executive director Jaime Santiago. "As a result of that, he started a prison ministry called Light of Hope (Evangelistic Ministry). They've gone to state prisons in Pennsylvania and minister to the inmates there."

Santiago explained that banquet organizers felt Stoltzfus would be a good fit to speak at the event since he works with men and prisoners who are dealing with a range of situations. "He'll be sharing his testimony (at the banquet)," Santiago continued. "He'll talk about marriage, but he'll also share how (incarceration) affected his life and affected his marriage."

There are four levels of business sponsorship opportunities, and the business sponsor deadline is Saturday, Dec. 13. Go to http://www.restartministry.org and click on the "Events" tab for sponsorship information. Ticket details will be announced on the website. Contact Pam Santiago at 717-304-3291 or officemanager@restartministry.org for more information.

The 11th annual Sportsman Banquet will be held on Tuesday, March 17, and Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at the Shady Maple Banquet Hall. Guests can choose which night they wish to attend. Doors will open at 4:45 p.m.; the meal will be served at 5:30 p.m.

There will be numerous auction items, door prizes, and ticket prize items.

"People have been very, very supportive of the events," Santiago said, noting that attendees are encouraged to bring their spouses and children. "They are fun family events."

Doug DeHarpart will be the guest speaker. DeHarpart, who was born in Akron, Ohio, hosts a podcast, once hosted a television show, and operates the website http://www.createdoutdoors.com. He was introduced to the outdoors by his father, who took him rabbit and deer hunting at a young age. There were many family vacations and countless weeks spent chasing whitetail deer in southern Ohio.

"He's an avid hunter, and he's a believer," Santiago said. "We're a Christian ministry. He's a Christian man, and he ministers to men through his organization, particularly using the vehicle of hunting to do that and make connections with men and their sons and to care for their children."

There are six sponsorship levels for businesses, and the deadline to register is Monday, Dec. 15.

"We're still looking for sponsors for both events, business sponsors," said Santiago. "Then eventually after business sponsors and table sponsors, we are looking for people to purchase tickets."

RTCM, which recently moved into a new facility in Ronks, offers faith-based teaching, resources, and counseling to aid men in the process of overcoming their addictions. The nonprofit helps the men learn valuable life skills, receive vocational training, connect with local churches, and transition back into the community.
