Three local residents recently received master's degrees from Wilkes University, Wilkes-Barre. The commencement ceremonies were held on May 16.

The local graduates were Jessica Heller of Marietta, receiving a Master of Science in nursing; Kendra Schreffler of Mount Joy, Master of Science in education; and Abigail Bleacher of Mount Joy, Master of Science in education.
