Nineteen employees are retiring from Lampeter-Strasburg (L-S) School District. Those retiring provided a combined 437 years of service to L-S students, parents, and the community.

Jody Allen has been with L-S for 36 years. She retired as a reading specialist at Hans Herr Elementary School.

Timothy Bernhardt has been with LS for 16 years. He retired as the lead second shift custodian at Lampeter-Strasburg High School (LSHS).

Joan Bianchi has been with L-S for 30 years. She retired as a health and physical education teacher at Martin Meylin Middle School.

Kathleen Boyce has been with L-S for 28 years. She retired as the district's assistant business manager.

Faith Cowell has been with L-S for 34 years. She retired as a health and physical education teacher at LSHS.

Donald Henry has been with L-S for 14 years. He retired as the district's mechanic.

Wendy Irwin has been with L-S for 35 years. She retired as the family and consumer science teacher at Martin Meylin Middle School.

Thomas Kent has been with L-S for five years. He retired as a custodian at Lampeter-Strasburg High School.

Jeffrey Landis has been with L-S for 27 years. He retired as the district's transportation coordinator.

Rebecca Lefever has been with L-S for 23 years. She retired as a special education teacher assistant at Martin Meylin Middle School.

Cathy Lynch has been with L-S for 23 years. She retired as the family and consumer science teacher at LSHS.

Carol Miranda has been with L-S for 15 years. She retired as a kitchen helper at LSHS.

Vanessa Moore has been with L-S for 36 years. She retired as a fourth-grade teacher at Hans Herr Elementary School.

Renee Pedersen has been with L-S for 18 years. She retired as a special education teacher at Lampeter Elementary School.

Laura Reiff has been with L-S for 14 years. She retired as a kitchen helper at Martin Meylin Middle School.

Karen Revelt has been with L-S for 18 years. She retired as an eighth-grade English/language arts teacher at Martin Meylin Middle School.

Pamela Rice has been with L-S for 17 years. She retired as the assistant cook manager at LSHS.

Karen Taraborelli has been with L-S for 22 years. She retired as a second-grade teacher at Lampeter Elementary School.

Susan von der Luft has been with L-S for 26 years. She retired as a special education teacher at Martin Meylin Middle School.
