Quarryville Library Posts Activities

Quarryville Library Center, 357 Buck Road, Quarryville, has posted its upcoming programs.

The library will be closed on Saturday, May 23, in observance of Memorial Day.

Baby's First Storytime, for children from birth to 17 months, will be offered on Tuesday, May 26, from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Family Storytime, for children from birth to age 6 with a caregiver, will be offered on Wednesday, May 27, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

PA CareerLink Lancaster County will be at the library on May 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Representatives can help community members with a job search, leveling up computer skills, writing a resume, interview tips, career exploration, and more.

The Knitting and Crocheting Group will meet on Thursday, May 28, and is open to all interested knitters, crocheters, and other needle or fabric crafters.

A local mobile chair masseuse will offer 20-minute chair massages to adults at the library on May 28. There is a suggested donation, which will be shared with the library.

The library accepts nonperishable food donations and other items for Solanco Neighborhood Ministries. Needed items include 15-ounce cans of beans in pinto, northern, chick pea, and cannelloni varieties; 16-ounce cans of refried beans; spam; cans of seafood soup and chowder; diapers in sizes 5, 6, 7, 3T, 4T, and 5T; baby wipes; mayonnaise; mustard; Triscuits and Wheat Thins; pasta sides; pudding cups; and granola bars.
