Project Linus' Lancaster/Lititz Chapter will hold its August Bee at Landis Homes, 1001 E. Oregon Road, Lititz, on Saturday, Aug. 15. The gathering will take place in the Westview Community Room from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Project Linus provides handmade blankets to Lancaster County children from birth to age 18 who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need. During the upcoming gathering, members will work on quilts, knit and crochet blankets, and make fleece blankets. Fabric and yarn donations will be accepted during the event.
