The Susquehanna Area Senior Center/Connect (SASC/Connect), 2427 Craley Road, Wrightsville, will honor veterans with a special program and luncheon on Thursday, Nov. 17. The event will start at 11:30 a.m., with the luncheon, a Thanksgiving dinner celebration, to follow.

During the event, World War II veterans Calvin Leiphart and Norman Crone will be honored. Rep. Stan Saylor has been invited to attend, as well.

Those who wish to attend are asked to call the senior center at 717-244-0340 by Thursday, Nov. 10. Callers should leave a message with their name and the number in their party, and they should mention whether they or a member in their group is a veteran.
