The Foundation for Enhancing Communities' Fund for Women and Girls will host its annual Power of the Purse event on Friday, Oct. 21, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will be held at the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey Hotel, 4650 Lindle Road, Harrisburg.

The event will celebrate the Women in Philanthropy Awards, welcome new Dream Team members, and spread the mission of the Fund for Women and Girls. The event will also feature a silent auction of purses as well as a luncheon.
