Potter's House plans fundraiser

The Potter's House will hold its fall fundraiser event on Friday, Sept. 27, at 6 p.m. at Shady Maple Banquet Center, 1324 Main St., East Earl. The event will include food, comedy, and celebration of the ministry of the Potter's House.

The event will feature comedian Mike Williams, who has more than 30 years of church and para-church ministry leadership experience and has been featured on numerous television and radio programs. For three decades, he toured with well-known Christian musical artists and wrote comedy for noted television stars. He won the Gospel Music Association's Dove Award for Comedian of the Year, recorded a special for "Dry Bar Comedy" and the "Bananas" TV comedy program, recorded 18 audio/video projects, and wrote 20 books. His music is played daily on SiriusXM radio.

Through the support of event sponsors White Oak Mills of Elizabethtown and Hursh Painting of Brownstown, all funds raised at the dinner will go directly to the ministry. There is no charge for the event, but a freewill offering will be received. To register by Friday, Sept. 13, go to http://www.thepottershouselancaster.com or call donor relations director Lanny Millette at 717-919-0316.
