Post Plans Veteran Benefit Information Session

American Legion Post 185 will host a Veteran Benefit Information Session on Thursday, Nov. 13, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 47 W. Main St., Mount Joy.

A formal presentation session will provide an overview of the benefits veterans may be eligible for to include Veterans Affairs (VA) hospital care, mental health support, funeral and burial benefits and local Lancaster County veteran center services.

Among the agencies that will attend include the Department of Military and Veteran Affairs, Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Veterans' Outreach, Sheetz Funeral Home, Lancaster Vet Center and Building Bridges Foundation.

Light refreshments will be available following the presentations, with additional time for individual questions with all veteran support agencies in attendance.
