The Quarryville Police Foundation will hold Ladies' Night Out on Monday, Nov. 29, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at the Hoffman Building at the Solanco Fairgrounds, 172 S. Lime St., Quarryville. Attendees must be at least 16 years old, and admission is free.

Personal safety presentations will begin at 7 p.m. The presenters will be Officer Cheryl Thompson of the Quarryville Police Department, Master Trooper Kelly Osborne of the Pennsylvania State Police, and Audra King of Community Safety and Security Consultants.

The event will also include independent vendors and a silent auction, with purchases by cash or check only, and proceeds will benefit the Quarryville Police Foundation. This nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization's mission is to cultivate a solid partnership between the Quarryville Police Department and the residents and businesses it serves. The foundation supports the police department's operations and supplements public safety initiatives. It provides funding for programs, training and technology that might otherwise go unfunded.
