Pioneers claim Section 3; fall in LL opener

February 21, 2024

- Madelyn Juba was one of a handful of Pioneers to either place, set a record or a personal best in the L-L League championships held Friday and Saturday, February 9-10 at Wilson HS. Juba was 4th in the 200 free with a PR.
- Adam Miller was one of three Pioneers to finish in the top 50 of the Lancaster-Lebanon League bowling championships held Friday, February 9 at Dutch Lanes in Ephrata.
- Trent Wagner was one of six L-S seniors to cut down the net with the rest of the team Thursday, February 8 after the Pioneers defeated Cocalico 43-40 to win the Section Three crown.
- Emory Fluhr puts up two of his six points in the Pioneers 43-40 triumph over visiting Cocalico Thursday, February 8. The win clinched the Section Three crown for L-S.
- Justin Glick blocks the shot of Penn Manor’s Ethan Benne in the L-L League quarterfinals at L-S Monday, February 12. The Comets earned a 56-45 road win.
