Penn State Extension Sets Mental Health Trainings

Penn State Extension will offer mental health trainings.

Mental Health First Aid for Adults Working With Youth is designed to teach adults who regularly interact with young people how to provide initial support to youths experiencing mental health or addiction challenges and assist them in finding the help and care they need. Extension educators will teach the National Council for Mental Wellbeing's Youth Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) course. Act 48 credits may be available.

This webinar will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 8, from 8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. The registration deadline is Thursday, Sept. 18. For more information, visit http://www.extension.psu.edu/mental-health-first-aid-adults-working-with-youth or call 877-345-0691.
