Penn Manor Welcomes New Staff Members
Penn Manor School District has hired 23 new teachers and guidance counselors for the 2021-22 school year to replace teachers who retired or left the district. In addition, the school district has appointed one new principal and two assistants at three of its schools.
The new teachers and counselors are as follows. Letort Elementary welcomed Kimberly Baker, academic support teacher. Hambright Elementary welcomed Timothy Hite, health and physical education teacher; Annaliese Berkenstock, emotional support teacher; and Rachel Suter, first-grade teacher. New learning support teachers at Pequea Elementary are MaKaila Campo, Emily Mader, and Molly VanLeuvan.
At Martic Elementary, new staff members include Timothy Deubler, music teacher, and Gisele Siebold, third-grade teacher. Eshleman Elementary welcomed Angela Neef, special education teacher, and Martic and Letort elementary schools welcomed Laurie Harnish, art teacher. Mariah Mamas will serve as technology education teacher at Letort, Martic, Conestoga, and Eshleman elementary schools.
Manor Middle welcomed Diana Chronister, technology education teacher, and Sarah Sambrick, reading and English teacher. Amy Hankle is the learning support teacher at Marticville Middle. Charles Thai is serving as music teacher at both middle schools.
Penn Manor High School welcomed the following: Austin Sensenig and David Long, health and physical education teachers; Noelle Henderson and Nicholas Marchio, math teachers; Amanda Gagne, agricultural education teacher; Pamela Lindstrom, English teacher; and Kristina Reuter, counselor.
In addition to these new staff members, three former Penn Manor teachers have been appointed to principal positions for 2021-22. Scott Keddie was named principal of Conestoga Elementary School, replacing Tamara Baker, who retired at the end of last school year. Keddie was assistant principal at Manor Middle School, where he previously taught social studies.
Jerrell Birch is replacing Keddie as the new assistant principal of Manor Middle School. Birch is a former elementary teacher at Hambright and Central Manor elementary schools.
Mike Fowler has been appointed assistant principal at Penn Manor High School, replacing Jason D'Amico, who left the district. Fowler formerly was a math teacher and wrestling coach at the high school.
