Pathways to Launch New Program

Pathways Hybrid Homeschool in East Earl will launch a pilot program for kindergarten through grade two learners and their parents and teachers. The Pathways educational offerings for the coming 2023-24 school year will be expanded to include a new Kindergarten Through Second-Grade Mentoring Program.

The initiative will be held one afternoon per week and will follow the Pathways philosophy. This program has been underwritten with a grant from Pathways' partner, the Shady Maple Foundation.

The weekly class will give young students opportunities to learn and be introduced to cooperative group learning skills and behavior. Activities will include open-air education, nature exploration, science, living history, art, music, drama, literature, and all curriculum areas that promote a love for the outdoors, community service, and Christ. The program will also include a bi-weekly mentoring and support workshop for parents.
