The Palmyra Area Recreation and Parks Commission (PARPC) was presented with a $1,000 check from the Knights of Columbus (KOC) from the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Palmyra, Council 10502. The funds will assist with scholarships for youths in need, so they can participate in the recreational programs offered.

As a result of this donation, 30 PARPC scholarships will be granted during 2023. Funds were raised through the Knights of Columbus' 11th annual Spirit Golf Scramble.
