The Lancaster County Department of Parks and Recreation is renting garden plots for the 2021 growing season, which will run from Thursday, April 15, through Friday, Oct. 15. The garden plots are located off Farm View Drive just off Golf Road in Lancaster County Central Park, 1050 Rockford Road, Lancaster.
Gardeners of all skill levels can rent garden plots to grow their own flowers and vegetables. They can select either a 20-by-20-foot plot for a one-time seasonal fee or a 20-by-40-foot plot for slightly more.
Interested parties can register online for a plot or obtain more details at http://www.lancastercountyparks.org. Readers may also visit the park office on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. or call 717-299-8215.
