Paramount Senior Living, 2760 Maytown Road, Marietta, will host a card and game club for seniors, with meetings on the first Wednesday of every month. The next event will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 2, at 2 p.m.

Card games like crazy 8's, hearts, penny drop, and left center right are among the game options. Refreshments will be provided. The first gathering, in August, brought together 12 players.

Seasons: Moving Through the Changes of Grief and Loss will be offered on Tuesdays at 11 a.m. beginning on Sept. 8. Bill and Sandy Bachert will lead the group, which is for people over the age of 55 who are experiencing grief from the loss of a loved one.
