York-based professional painting company Todd A. Hess Painting Co. recently opened a brick-and-mortar paint supply store in York. The store, Hess Supply Co., will sell paint supplies for DIY painters, including rollers, paint and other materials.

The vision for Hess Supply Co. centers around the desire to provide for the local community. Owners Todd and Alex Hess want to make their resources available to everyone, regardless of their budget.

The store is located at 2406 N. Sherman St., York, in a historic building that has been home to many local businesses throughout the years. The store held a soft opening on May 4.
