Owners Of Country Table Restaurant To Retire

Tom and Rosemarie Daly, owners of the Country Table Restaurant, 720-740 E. Main St., Mount Joy, have decided to close the restaurant and sell the real estate due to their retirement. The family restaurant will officially close its doors on Saturday, April 16, after 22 years in business. The Dalys reported that they had searched for a family to buy the business, but they had not found a successor.

The Bake Shoppe will continue to operate on Mondays through Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and First Citizens Bank will also remain open. The Bake Shoppe has been independently operated by the Dalys' son and daughter-in-law, Tom Jr. and Jessica Daly, since May 2017. The restaurant space will be available for lease, and the whole property is available for purchase. The property is being listed by High Associates Ltd.

The Dalys said their retirement years will include spending time together as well as with their children and 10 grandchildren.
