OMPH School students become published authors

Thirteen members of the fifth-grade class at Our Mother of Perpetual Help School (OMPH) were recently recognized as winners in the Young Writers' Scary Tales contest. The students' entries were chosen for the Young Writers' upcoming publication "Scary Tales - Ghosts & Ghouls."

The students, under the direction of fifth-grade teacher Katelynn Schulze, submitted short stories that were judged based on perception, imagination, creativity, and originality. In addition to being published, the 13 students received certificates and bookmarks from the Young Writers organization.
