Oasis sets fall Bible study

Oasis Women's Ministry of Pennsylvania will begin a new season of Bible study on Wednesday, Sept. 25. The group welcomes all women in the community to gather from 9 to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesdays through Nov. 20 at Providence Church, 269 Cinder Road, New Providence.

The featured study will be "Seek First the Kingdom" by Christine Hoover. Through the Gospel of Matthew, participants will explore what it means to belong to God's kingdom.

The Bible study will include short videos, personal study lessons, and questions for small group discussion. Workbooks will be available for purchase at the first meeting.

The intention of Oasis is to provide a restful place for women to pause in the midst of life's journey to connect with the heart of God and with one another.

Each meeting will begin with a time of fellowship and breakfast refreshments and coffee at 9 a.m. Worship in music will begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by a video and small group discussion.

Oasis attendees are women from more than 50 local churches, ranging in age from young moms to great-grandmothers.

Oasis includes a children's ministry, which provides supervision, snacks, crafts, and Bible stories for nursery, preschool, and homeschooled students while their mothers attend the study. A freewill offering will be received each week.

Preregistration is encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome at any time. For more information or to preregister, visit http://www.oasiswomen.org or call or text Gail at 717-799-8583.
