Nominations sought for Women in Technology Awards

The Technology Council of Central Pennsylvania (TCCP) is accepting nominations for the 2024 Women in Technology Awards, recognizing exceptional women in the technology sector.

The eighth annual Women in Technology Awards event serves as a platform to honor outstanding contributions, achievements, and innovations made by women across various domains of the tech industry. From pioneering research to leadership excellence, these awards highlight the impact of women in shaping the future of technology.

Nominations are open in several categories.

The Next Gen award acknowledges an emerging talent who has shown exceptional promise and potential early in her career in the technology sector.

The Moxie award recognizes a pioneering trailblazer who has built a path for other women in technology to follow.

The Diversity and Inclusion category highlights an individual who has made a meaningful difference by leveraging technology to address diversity and inclusion in technology.

The Women in Tech Ally award acknowledges an individual, organization, or business for outstanding achievements or contributions as an ally to women in tech.

The Impact Award - Private Sector celebrates women who have contributed to a meaningful positive impact. It is divided into categories for businesses with fewer than 50 employees and greater than 50 employees.

The Impact Award - Public Sector and Government celebrates a woman making a positive impact in technology within the public and government space.

Nominations can be submitted through Friday, June 7, at http://www.tccp.org/wit-awards-2024. Self-nominations and nominations on behalf of others are welcome. The winners will be selected by a panel of judges representing diverse backgrounds and expertise within the technology industry.

The winners will be honored at a ceremony held on Wednesday, Sept. 25, at the West Shore Country Club in Camp Hill. To purchase tickets, visit the aforementioned website.
