New Physical Therapy Clinic Opens

Phoenix Physical Therapy has opened a new clinic in Lancaster. Located on Columbia Avenue in The Shoppes, Phoenix's Lancaster clinic provides personalized physical therapy to treat orthopedic conditions, pre- and post-surgical rehabilitation, work injuries, and concussion. Phoenix Physical Therapy Lancaster will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house on Thursday, Sept. 23, from 5 to 7 p.m. This event is open to the public and will include light refreshments, giveaway drawings, and opportunities to tour the new facility

The new clinic is directed by physical therapist Alisha Greene, who has joined the Phoenix team with over five years of experience in the outpatient setting treating injured patients and those who need orthopedic rehabilitation.

The clinic offers a video running analysis program that analyzes athletes' running form and help to assign exercises to help with injury prevention and performance enhancement. Additionally, the clinic features the newest physical therapy equipment, such as Normatec Pneumatic Compression, which mimics the muscle pump of the legs to enhance the movement of fluid and metabolites out of the limbs with the goals of helping to relieve muscle aches and pain and to increase circulation for increased flexibility and range of motion. The clinic also offers the Game Ready System, which is designed to reduce inflammation after surgery.
