Neffsville Car Show Moves To New Home

The Neffsville Car Show, formerly run by the Lancaster Sunrise Rotary Club, is moving to Lancashire Hall, 2829 Lititz Pike, Lancaster. The show was not held in 2020 due to COVID-19 restrictions, but for 2021, the event is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 16, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

"I think our grounds at Lancashire Hall are perfect for a car show," said Eric Stark, marketing coordinator for Lancashire. "We hope to gain a lot of positive exposure and (offer) a great experience for people to bring their cars and enjoy our beautiful grounds."

Stark has been working with members of the Sunrise Rotary, who shared a list of past participants as part of handing off the event to Lancashire. "They've been guiding my steps to take over the show and move it from Neffsville Park to our location," reported Stark. Stark is also working with Lancaster Cruisers, and he said the group has been very helpful in advising him and providing a checklist for a successful show. "We are estimating, based on the previous preregistration ... and on feedback that I am receiving, that we will have more than 100 cars at the show," noted Stark, who added that there is no admission fee for the show, but donations will be accepted.

Owners who register for the show will be eligible for one of two awards, which are Best of Show and a People's Choice Award. The People's Choice winner will be voted on by the car owners.

To enhance the atmosphere, a DJ will play music, and food trucks, including Auntie Anne's, Fink's French Fries, and Bruno's Signature Hoagies will be on-site.

"Our goal is to have a nice show and a fun day," said Stark.
