"Mystery Island" VBS Planned

Open Door Bible Church (ODBC), 200 Nissley Drive, Middletown, will host a vacation Bible school (VBS) from Monday to Wednesday, June 13 to 15, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The VBS is open to all children ages 4 through 12.

The theme for the VBS is "Mystery Island: Tracking Down the One True God." The VBS will include Bible lessons, songs, outdoor games, indoor crafts, and snacks. Participants will travel to different stations in groups and will be fully supervised throughout the evening.

All family members are invited to attend the free Grand Finale Carnival on June 15. Parents and family members will hear a brief recap of what their children learned, and the carnival will include hot dogs, popcorn, watermelon, icies, carnival games, and a dunk tank where children and their families can dunk VBS staff members.

There is no fee for children to participate in the VBS. While preregistration is not required, parents or guardians must fill out a registration card on the first night their children attend. Children will only be dismissed to their predesignated pickup person. All ODBC volunteers who will help with the children have completed Pennsylvania Department of Human Services forms.

For additional information or to preregister, contact the church office at 717-939-5180 or info@odbcpa.org. Any updates will be posted at http://www.opendoorbible.church or on the "Open Door Bible Church" Facebook page.
