The Donegal High School Counseling Office and Career Resource Center has announced that Ellen Zern and Jacob Bloom are the Mount Joy Rotary Students of the Month of March. Students of the Month are honored by members of the Mount Joy Rotary during their monthly luncheon meeting.

Ellen is the daughter of Kimberly and Andrew Zern of Mount Joy. She is a Link Crew leader and a member of the National Honor Society and the tennis team. Ellen has been on Student Council and performed on stage with the Donegal Performing Arts Club. Ellen's plans after graduation include attending a university to major in nursing.

Jacob, the son of Ian Bloom of Mount Joy, is a founding member of L.E. Studios. Members of this student-created club make short films, from writing the scripts to editing the videos. Jake has been instrumental in devising the structure for the teams, as well as guiding members to focus and reach goals. After graduation, Jacob plans to pursue a creative career.
