Mount Joy Rotary Honors Students of the Month

The Donegal High School Counseling Office and Career Resource Center has announced that the Mount Joy Rotary Students of the Month for December are Hannah Olewicz and Noah Smeltz. Students of the Month are honored during the Rotary Club's monthly luncheon meeting.

Hannah is the daughter of Mike Rambler of Palmyra and Lidia Bruce of Mount Joy. She is a member of the Donegal Performing Arts, Donegal High School marching band, color guard, Rhythm Singers, Modern Music Masters (Tri-M), and Lancaster-Lebanon Music Education Association. She is also a member of Big Brothers Big Sisters and peer tutoring and has served as a teacher intern.

Hannah's plans after graduation are to attend college and become a high school math teacher.

Noah is the son of Jacob and Jennifer Smeltz of Mount Joy. He is a member of the National Honor Society, Math Honor Society, peer tutoring, and Link Crew. He is also involved in chess club, Spanish club, and ski club.

Outside of school, Noah attends church at the LCBC Manheim campus. He participates in the Wednesday night youth group, volunteers in the tech booth, and edits videos for the church.

After graduation, Noah plans to attend college to major in cybersecurity and minor in mathematics.
