Motorsports Show to feature more than 1,000 vehicles

LCBC Church will host the 23rd annual Motorsports Show, one of the largest free car shows in Pennsylvania, on Saturday, June 8. This year's show will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the LCBC Manheim campus at 2392 Mount Joy Road, Manheim.

The free-entry event will feature more than 1,000 antique, classic and muscle cars, tuners, street rods, motorcycles and scale model cars. The show will also include food and prize giveaways.

This year's show will celebrate the classic Chevrolet Corvette, including each generation of all years and styles showcasing the rarest models in a designated parking area.

In addition, the Liberty Warbirds Huey 823 helicopter will do a flyover and land on-site. Attendees will have an opportunity to interact with members of the Liberty Warbirds, a nonprofit organization that serves to pay tribute to all Vietnam veterans and their loved ones. Attendees will be able to watch the helicopter take off toward the end of the show.

Local food vendors will be available, including Buckwalter's Deli & Smoke Haus, Bricker's Famous French Fries, Kreider Farms drinks and LCBC's cafe. Free face painting, inflatables and R/C racing will be available for kids.

The show is open to people of all ages and vehicle types and is free for both entrants and guests. To register a car for the show, visit http://www.LCBCchurch.com/Motorsports. In the event of inclement weather, the show will move to Saturday, June 15, at the same time.
