Moravian Manor Residents Present Scholarship

Residents of Moravian Manor Communities love interacting with the students who are employed at Moravian Manor Communities, and they value the opportunity to attend Warwick School District's athletic events, plays, concerts, musicals, and other events.

In the spirit of desiring to support students of Warwick High School, residents have financed an endowment fund that is managed by the Lancaster County Community Foundation. Each year, a Warwick senior will be presented with a $2,500 scholarship. The Residents of Moravian Manor Communities Scholarship is renewable for four years for a potential total award of $10,000 for the recipient.

This is the first award year for the new scholarship. The recipient is Warwick senior Ann Barney, who will attend the University of Pittsburgh this fall to study nursing.

David Swartley, president and CEO of Moravian Manor Communities, and Ashlinn Masland-Sarani, director of Forever Lancaster at Lancaster County Community Foundation, congratulated Ann after the senior awards ceremony at Warwick High School.
