Locally operated Moove In Self Storage has expanded its portfolio with another York property. MISS has acquired Back 9 Storage, which is located at 4844 W. Market St.

The acquisition adds more than 210 storage units totaling roughly 67,000 square feet of storage to the portfolio, which now stands at 34 locations throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Iowa and Massachusetts. The York facility will be managed by Investment Real Estate Management under the Moove In Self Storage brand.

The Back 9 Storage facility was originally constructed in 1999 and made additions to the property through 2015. The facility features nine buildings with 214 drive-up units along with covered RV parking.

The property is managed from an on-site office that will be remodeled to fit the Moove In motif with retail and customer service features. Capital improvements planned for the future include upgrading the property signage; a four-building expansion that will provide more than 24,000 square feet of additional storage; asphalt repair; roof repair; upgrading the property signage; implementing the Moove In Self Storage branding; and general rehabilitation to portions of the facility.
