Millersville Woman's Club Installs Officers

Members of the Millersville Woman's Club recently installed officers for the 2022-23 year.

New officers are Diane Duell, president; Louise Brown, first vice president; Karen Choppa, second vice president; Linda Davis, treasurer; Jacqueline Shaw, recording secretary; and Nancy Dornsife, corresponding secretary. The installation dinner was hosted by Mary Lehr, Linda Davis, and Carol Goss, with Goss also serving as the master of ceremonies.

The main purpose of the club is to provide scholarships for Penn Manor High School seniors and achievement awards for additional seniors at both Penn Manor and the Lancaster County Career and Technology Center. In addition, the club helps to fund both international and community programs. The club's primary fundraisers are a card party in the fall, a Christmas cookie sale in the winter, and an indoor community garage sale in the spring.

Members participate in monthly business meetings from September through May. The meetings are preceded by a program of local or general interest. Art activities are are also planned throughout those months.
