Middletown Public Library, 20 N. Catherine St., Middletown, will hold its spring book sale on Monday, April 19, to Saturday, May 1. The sale will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays; from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesdays; and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.

The sale will offer over 25,000 items, including new hardcover and paperback fiction, classics, children's books, young adult books, nonfiction books on a variety of subjects, large-print books and audiobooks. Publication dates are from the 1800s to the present, and most collections will be sorted by author. The sale will also offer DVDs, CDs, jigsaw puzzles and board games. A bag sale will be available on May 1.

Only five shoppers at a time will be admitted to the book sale. Attendees must wear a mask and maintain social distancing.
