Mennonite Life plans book auction

Mennonite Life will hold a rare and used book auction on Friday, March 10, at 6:30 p.m. at 2215 Millstream Road, Lancaster.

The auction will offer a variety of rare books of both local and historical interest. "The Earth Is the Lord's" by John L. Ruth, now out of print, will be offered for sale, as well as an 1814 edition of "The Martyrs Mirror," published in Lancaster.

The auction will also feature many books in German, such as a 1771 edition of "Mullern's Erläuterung für Herrn Caspar Schwenckfeld," published in Germany, and Menno Simons' "Ein Fundament und klare Anweisung von der seligmachenden Lehre unsers Herrn Jesu Christi," published in 1835 in Lancaster.

A wide selection of classic used books will also be available.
