Bainbridge American Legion Post 197 will host a Memorial Day parade on Monday, May 31, starting at 9 a.m. It will step off from Bainbridge Elementary School, 416 N. Second St., and head south on Second Street to the cemetery.

The Memorial Day commemoration will also feature Dwight Stoutzenburger as the speaker. Afterward, there will be food trucks at the park on Division Street. All are invited.

Additionally, this year's Poppy nominees are Maliea Brady, Harper Dearolf, Huntly Hammer, Jordan Koser, and Tyler Mohr. Monies raised through the nominees selling poppies will benefit veterans.
