Meet Marie: Available for adoption

Marie was adopted in January 2023 and surrendered back to Lucky Dawg Animal Rescue (LDAR) in mid-July because her owner's health issues caused her to no longer be able to care for her. Marie was always by her owners' side.

Marie, who is about 4 to 5 years old, was previously found as a stray in Chester last year. She is a lovable lap cat and couch potato who has a lot of love to give. She head-butts and chirps for attention and loves to be petted.

Marie has been resilient going from foster home to being adopted and back to foster and has settled well wherever she has been, but LDAR wants Marie to have a permanent home.

Marie needs a quiet home, preferably as the only cat, because she does not get along with adult cats but has been tolerant of kittens in the past. A family without children or with older children is best for her.

Marie is spayed and up to date on vaccines. Her adoption fee has been sponsored by her former owner.
