Mount Joy Church of God, 30 E. Main St., Mount Joy, will host a Marriage Enrichment Night on Friday, Feb. 9, at 7 p.m. The event was planned during February in connection with Valentine's Day and this holiday's focus on love and relationships. The program will offer three guiding principles that may help people strengthen their marriage.

The guest speaker will be Elizabeth Lerro. Lerro holds a Master of Arts in pastoral counseling from Liberty University and has served as the director of care and women's ministries at Mount Calvary Church in Elizabethtown since 2019. She frequently works with women and couples who are struggling in their relationships.

This event is free and open to married or engaged couples in the community. Light refreshments will be served.

Mount Joy Church of God has been serving the community since 1831. The Sunday service is held at 9 a.m. followed by Sunday school at 10:30 a.m. with nursery and a children's ministry available. Programs offered during the week include Awana for children on Wednesday evenings, youth group on Thursday evenings for middle and high school students, and a Wednesday morning Bible study for adults.
