MAHS To Hold Arts And Crafts Fair

The Middletown Area Historical Society of Dauphin County will present the 47th annual Middletown Arts and Crafts Fair on Saturday, June 11, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Hoffer Park, 325 Mill St., Middletown. This event is an annual tradition that celebrates the Middletown Resolves, a set of declarations proclaiming Middletown's independence from Great Britain in 1774, two years before the Declaration of Independence.

The fair will have more than 130 art and craft vendors, a variety of food booths, entertainment, and a cruise-in car show. The vendors will offer a wide variety of items, including painters, pottery, acrylic, woodworking, and brooms. The Craft Beer and Wine Cafe will return, allowing guests age 21 and over to enter the main pavilion and purchase adult beverages.

Admission is free, and the event will be held rain or shine. Guests can park on public streets or park at Fink Elementary School, 150 Race St., for free. Free shuttle transportation will be provided by Rohrer Bus Services to and from Fink Elementary and Hoffer Park.

The Middletown Fair is presented by the Middletown Area Historical Society of Dauphin County. Proceeds will benefit the historical society and its mission to collect, preserve and teach about the history of Middletown and the surrounding area.
