Douglas Seaman, who was diagnosed with kidney disease in August of 2020, is seeking a kidney donor. Seaman, age 62, is a life-long resident of East Hanover Township in Dauphin County.

Seaman is currently on the transplant list at UPMC Harrisburg. However, due to the number of people on the transplant list at this time, it may take five or more years to obtain a kidney for transplant. Seaman noted that healthy adults may donate one of their kidneys and still have a long life.
