Penn State Health will host an educational session titled "Living With Dementia" for those providing care to someone with Alzheimer's disease or other dementias. The seminar will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 15, at the Derry Township Community Center, 605 Cocoa Ave., Hershey.

The session will offer tips, community resources, and tools for care partners to use daily in the caregiving journey. Presenters will discuss finding a dementia care facility or support setting that best matches needs, including a "Questions to Ask" guide and other tools. Panelists joining the conversation will offer resources to assist with preserving independence throughout all stages of care, creating a dementia-friendly environment in the home and other settings, accessing services in the community, and more.
