Lititz Lions Halloween Parade To Return

After a hiatus of one year due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Lititz Lions Club Halloween parade will return to downtown Lititz on Monday, Oct. 25.

The parade will start at 7 p.m. at Locust and East Main streets. Participants will parade west on Main Street and disperse at the Lititz Square. The judges' platform and the Lions Food Stand will be located at the intersection of Main and Cedar streets. Spectators can purchase hot dogs, beverages and slices of pumpkin pie prior to and during the parade at the food stand to support the Lions Club. Members of the club will also walk the parade route with white canes so that spectators can contribute to Lions projects benefiting people who are blind.

The Lions Club will award prizes in the following categories: children marching individually or in groups of up to eight marchers, children in groups of nine or more marchers, and children's floats. Business or commercial entries are permitted, but will not be judged. Political and special interest entries are not permitted.

All participants should preregister; information is available at http://www.lititzlions.org/halloween-parade. Participants who have preregistered must pick up their parade number at the registration area at Oak and East Main streets beginning at 6 p.m.
