Lippert Earns Eagle Scout Rank

Boy Scout Troop 33, based in East Petersburg, has announced that Logan Lippert has earned the rank of Eagle Scout.

Logan, 18, is the son of Kene and Christine Lippert of East Petersburg. Before becoming a member of Troop 33, Logan was a member of Cub Scout Pack 133 of East Petersburg, where he earned the Arrow of Light, the highest award in Cub Scouting.

During his time in Troop 33, Logan was the troop's bugler, held the leadership positions of assistant patrol leader and senior patrol leader, and served as the den chief for Pack 133. Logan's peers elected him to the Order of the Arrow, the national honor society of the Boy Scouts of America. He also earned his bronze and silver palms. For his Eagle Scout project, Logan built a handicapped-accessible ramp to a local borough building.

Logan recently graduated from Hempfield High School and the Lancaster County Career and Technology Center in Mount Joy. He currently works in the field of metal fabrication.
