Lions Club Sets Egg Hunt

The Marietta Lions Club will hold its 23rd annual Charles Huck Memorial Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 4, at 1 p.m., rain or shine. The egg hunt will take place at Marietta War Memorial Park, 344 E. Walnut St., Marietta. Attendees should enter by Aaron Avenue.

The egg hunt is open to children from six months to 10 years of age. They will be divided into four age groups with prizes given in each group.

The Marietta Lions Club has served the community for 94 years. Besides a yearly egg hunt, the club serves with the purchase, maintaining, and hanging of Christmas lights; highway cleanup on Route 441; regularly supplying food and finances for the local food bank; and participation in Marietta Day with its famous roast beef sandwiches.

The club will collect nonperishable goods for the Marietta Community Care Center at this year's egg hunt.
