Elizabethtown Area High School (EAHS) senior Emma Dixon has been named the Elizabethtown Lions Club Student of the Month for January. Each month, the Lions Club recognizes one EAHS student who is enrolled in the Lancaster County Career and Technology Center (LCCTC) and exhibits an outstanding work ethic and outstanding skills and knowledge in his or her subject area.

Emma is the daughter of Thomas and Natalie Dixon of Elizabethtown. She is enrolled in the commercial art program at the LCCTC Brownstown campus. She is the president of the Brownstown Chapter of the National Technical Honor Society and is the stage manager for EAHS' upcoming musical. After graduation, Emma plans to pursue a degree in fine art with the goal of becoming a fine art museum curator.
