Lions Club Raises Funds for Library

The Elizabethtown Lions Club recently donated $535 to Elizabethtown Public Library.

The money was raised through the Lions Club's "Predict the Points Contest." To participate, individuals purchased tickets and predicted how many total points the Penn State football team would score in its games against Oregon, UCLA, and Northwestern this season.

Although nobody correctly predicted all three scores, six individuals' predictions were correct on two of the three games, and the prize money was equally divided among them. All proceeds from the contest went directly to support library services in the greater Elizabethtown area.
