At a recent Manheim Lions Club meeting, a donation was made to the Penryn Athletic Association for a new backstop for its baseball field in Penryn. This site is the home field for the U-14 Manheim boys' baseball team, a team that the Manheim Lions Club sponsors. With other donations, the backstop was able to be installed in March.
The Manheim Lions Club, which has a motto of "We Serve," aims to meet the needs of the local Manheim community and the world every day. The club meets on the first Monday and third Tuesday of each month. To learn more about the club, contact Dave Husser at 717-940-9629.
