Lions Club names Students of the Month

Elizabethtown Area High School (EAHS) senior Abigail Hanlon was named the Elizabethtown Lions Club Student of the Month for November, and EAHS junior Brayden Hofmann was named the Lions Club's Student of the Month for December. To be considered for this honor, students must be enrolled in the Lancaster County Career & Technology Center (LCCTC) and exhibit exceptional work ethic, skills, and knowledge in their respective subject areas.

Abbie is the daughter of Christopher Hanlon of Elizabethtown and Jamie Hanlon of Marietta. She is currently in her second year at the LCCTC. In her junior year, she pursued electro-mechanical engineering, and this year, she is enrolled in HVAC while participating in cooperative education with JK Mechanical of Willow Street. Abbie is a second-year member of the National Technical Honor Society and was previously associated with the Student Council at Elizabethtown Area School District.

Brayden, the son of Kevin and Kayla Hofmann of Elizabethtown, is currently enrolled in the three-year welding program at the Willow Street campus of LCCTC. His interest in welding began during his work at a welding shop with his father last year. In his coursework, Brayden is gaining proficiency in various welding styles and exploring different types of metal, along with mastering the art of welding different joints. After graduation, Brayden plans to pursue a career in welding.
